Weddings at the Farmhouse

Looking for a quiet, intimate setting away from the hassles and commotion of the Wedding Industry’s idea of a commitment ceremony? Bring your families together for a couple of days of  down-home comfort where the focus is on your union, surrounded by those who are most important to you.

The Farmhouse Inn can accommodate 12-16 guests. We also sometimes have a Yurt available and some camping is allowed.

We can help with all facets of your wedding—flowers, photography, and music. Chef Dava Parr can provide dinners, lunches and breakfasts using local and organic products. The wedding ceremony can be held outdoors under a tent or indoors in our parlor-dining room.

Weather permitting, we can feed 100 people outdoors. Indoors, our capacity is 45.

Weddings @ Fresh & Wyld

Here is a fairly complete template of what to expect cost-wise for your Wedding at Fresh & Wyld Farmhouse Inn.

VENUE ONLY: Sunday through Thursday, Venue Fee without Room Rentals is $2,000—this covers the cost of having our Inn exclusively to yourselves for your Ceremony and Reception (and Wedding Dinner for an additional fee).

WEDDING WITH ROOM RENTALS: More commonly, wedding parties rent our Farmhouse Inn for the wedding party (see below for Accommodations). Venue Fee with Room Rentals is $1,500 provided you take all 7 of our rooms for two nights. There are 7 Rooms on the property with 11 beds accommodating up to 18 people (depending on how many folks share beds). If you rent all 7 rooms, the cost of Room Rental is $935 a night ($1,870 for the two-night minimum).

If you only partially fill the house before or after your two-day minimum stay, we would love to have you, but we will have to rent rooms to guests outside of your wedding party unless you wish to pay for all of the rooms, occupied or not.

WEDDING MEALS: All Meals are made from the Freshest, organically grown food available from our region.

BREAKFAST AT THE FARMHOUSE: Breakfast is included for Farmhouse guests and additional places can be set for the extended Wedding party to join at $15 per person. If more than 20 guests come for Breakfast, we will add an 18% Gratuity for our Wait staff.

FRIDAY NIGHT DINNERS: During the summer, we host a public meal every Friday Night. This meal is popular in our Community. It is reasonably priced at $16 – $20 for the evening’s entrée (a choice of vegetarian or non-vegetarian), with Soup, Salad and Dessert coming in at $6 to $10. If you’d like to join our regular crowd for this meal, we’ll set up your own private table inside or outside (weather permitting). Or you could choose one of our restaurants in Paonia, allowing us to keep this night open to the Public.

OR … you can pay us $500 not to do our Friday Night dinners and have Exclusivity to the place, which is fine by us. Provided you have at least 30 people in your party on Friday night, we will close the Farmhouse to the outlying community and give you your own menu and party at a price we come up with together. Your Rehearsal Dinner could be a big cozy sit-down Dinner or a Bar B Queue and your evening could include a Camp Fire Circle, Charades in the Parlor, or Night Walking on the trails behind the house.

WEDDING DINNERS: This is an optional Dinner for you. You may have a different plan for your Wedding! You are not committed to doing a Dinner with us. But! We do it well. Most of our couples marry in the afternoon on Saturday and then go right into an evening of Dining and then some Dancing at the Farmhosue.

We can offer a 2-Course Dinner priced at $28 or a 3-course dinner at $35. An 18% gratuity will be added to your bill. This covers Wait and Kitchen Staff for the Evening and is for a minimum of 30 people and a maximum of 100 people. Course choices are Soup, Salad or Dessert and an Entrée. Additionally, we can offer an Appetizer course priced at $3 – $5 per person, with 2 helpings each. We can offer as many appetizers as you like at $3 to $5 per person for each selection.

Toddlers up to 4 years old are free, and children under 4 feet tall are Half Price.

WEDDING CAKES: We don’t do Wedding Cakes!  But Ellen does … She is awesome! You can reach her at 970 234-8866.

WINE & BEER:We have our own Wine Tasting Room and wine can be purchased through us. Beer and hard liquor must be purchased off-site and brought in.

We ask that you pay for one of our employees to come on as a Bartender if you are going to be serving Drinks. This person is paid $20 an hour, gratuity included. We ask that you hire on 2 bartenders if you have invited more than 45 people.

If you would like to serve Mixed Drinks or Soda, we can have our Bartender shop for the Alcohol and limes, ice, etc. and add the cost to your bill along with her wage of $20 an hour to do the provisioning.

HIRED HELP: We also hire on a Set Up and Breakdown person for a few hours the day of your wedding and the next day to tidy up the property again. This person is paid $15 an hour, and 8 hours of their time is covered in your Venue Fee Cost. If you would like us to supply you with an employee to help you with additional errands, we can arrange that.

DEPOSITS: We require a $400 non-refundable Venue Deposit once you have confirmed your plans with us to hold the date and we waive all other potential bookings.

Within one month of your stay with us, we need 25% of the two-day Farmhouse Room rental as a Deposit to guarantee the rooms. This will not be charged to you immediately, but held in the event your guests cancel outside the provisions of our Cancellation Policy, below.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Your 25% Room Deposit will be refunded in full if you give us 30 days notice of Cancellation (30 days before the date of your first night’s rental). If you cancel within 30 days of your Wedding, your 25% Deposit will not be returned, and the following Policy will take effect.

For cancellations between 2 and 4 weeks of your reservation, we will charge you 25% of your total bill. If you cancel within 2 weeks of your reservation, we will charge you 50% of your bill. For cancellations within 3 days of your reservation, you will be charged the full price of stay.

RENTALS: We require that you rent a tent, tables, chairs, plateware, glassware, linens and an outhouse if your party is larger than 45 people. The maximum number we can provide dinnerware for is 45.
