The Farmhouse Inn

Why visit? Because you need to relax. Because you need to have some fun. Because you need to eat good food and drink local wine and mix it up with the chickens.

The North Fork Valley hosts many Festivals from May to October, including the Sheep Dog Trials, and Earth Day in the Spring, Pioneer Days and Cherry Days in the Summer.

Want more? How about the huge Delta County Fair, and the Food, Farm, Film and Wine Festival in August. Our all-time favorite is the end-of-season Mountain Harvest Festival in September.

Our area is so diverse–everything you could possibly want is either right around the corner or a pleasant drive over one of the beautiful mountain passes.

Drive over Kebler Pass to Crested Butte for lunch and some shopping. Take a hike or a bike or a fishing trip. Great music,  live theater and art galleries, food and wine: our Valley has an array of attractions to keep you moving!

Of course, you can also find nothing to do but sit under our towering cottonwoods and unplug from your technological life, which in these surroundings is its own sublime reward.

Come on over!
