Chard- high in calcium and folic acid. Very high in phytochemicals and minerals. Improves digestion, fights lung cancer and controls urinary tract infections. Chard is a very good leafy green to eat a few times a week to support your livers process of cleaning itself out.
In a little ghee, coconut or olive oil saute 3 T minced onion, 1 crushed clove of garlic, 1 inch of ginger and 3 cups chopped chard until chard is soft and onions are starting to brown. Next add 1 tsp of mild curry or curry paste, pinch of cayenne, sea salt and 1/2 cup of coconut milk. Leave on med-low heat for another 3-4 minutes and serve
