How to Get Here

Paonia is about half way between Aspen and Telluride in Western Colorado. We have a small Airport in Paonia, North Fork Valley (Paonia) Airport (7V2, 3.5 miles away), with great Gas prices. We can pick you up from the Airport if you let us know ahead of time, when you are arriving.  The closest commercial airports are Montrose (MTJ)—about 1 hour away, Grand Junction (GJT)—about 1 1/2 hours away, and Eagle (EGE)—(about 2 hours away). Amtrak visits Glenwood Springs (about 1 3/4 hours away) and Grand Junction—a great way to get close to Paonia.

From the North (Aspen and area, Carbondale)

From Aspen, take Highway 82 North toward Carbondale. At Carbondale, take Highway 133 South. You’ll pass by scenic Redstone (a great place to have lunch—try their fish tacos) and go over McClure Pass. You’ll pass by three coal mines before dropping down into the Paonia valley. Now, look for Highway 187, which turns LEFT (south) into Paonia proper. Highway 187 turns into Grand Avenue, Paonia’s main drag.

From the South and West (Salt Lake City, Grand Junction)

From Grand Junction, take US-50 East toward Delta. At Delta, take a LEFT onto CO-92 East. After 20 miles, take a slight LEFT onto CO-133, which will take you to Paonia. After 8 miles on 133, turn RIGHT (east) at the Paonia sign, just after the Conoco station. Follow P Road into town and turn RIGHT on Grand.

To the Farmhouse from Paonia

From Grand Ave go East on 2nd Street (Grand Ave runs north/south). Drive approximately 1 mile to the yield sign. Turn right here onto Paonia Ave. Follow Paonia Ave. and look for Harding Rd on the left in about ¼ mile. Come to the stone pillars at 1978 Harding Road, we are the two story blue farmhouse.
